Social Media Manager

We are looking for a talented Social Media Manager to enhance HOSSTILE's online presence in all aspects of social media, social engagement and public relations while managing existing social media marketing platforms.

Daily Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop a strong marketing strategy for social media channels.
  • Daily posting and interaction on social media channels, such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Ideate on innovative and engaging content ideas in weekly pitch sessions in order to create daily content that resonates with the bodybuilding/fitness community, boosts engagement and keeps HOSSTILE at the forefront of the conversation.
  • Work together with the marketing department and graphic designers to develop and create compelling content for campaigns that will generate sales and leads.
  • Identify potential strategic partners, alliances, and relationships to expand social channels.
  • Provide regular performance reporting and utilize insights-driven data to shape content that best meets customer and company needs.
  • Confer with CMO to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions.
  • Willing to work outside regular business hours to post and monitor social media.
  • Periodic travel is required.


Skills & Experience Needed to Get the Job Done:

  • Minimum of 3 years of social media planning experience as a social media marketer/manager.
  • Knowledge of and passion for sports nutrition dietary supplements.
  • Proven track record in creating assets for social channels that led to measurable business impact.  
  • Expert-level knowledge of organic social channel functions, including platforms, community management, measurement, and attribution tools.
  • Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data and make strategy pivots based on channel performance.
  • Proficiency in copywriting, such as caption writing and hashtag strategy, adhering to best practices.
  • Self-starter with a focused work ethic and strong organizational skills.
  • Possess the ability to be highly flexible, adaptable and meet expectations while adhering to tight deadlines.
  • Experience using short-form editing apps such as In-shot, along with Adobe Photoshop, Premier Pro, After Effects, or similar programs, strongly preferred.
